Many Christians do not know how to live out and share their faith in the workplace. Professionals often ask - How do I share the Gospel at work? Can I share at work and when is it appropriate? This course provides Biblical insights that will open the doors to Gospel conversations and how to be more intentional and discover how to share the Gospel in word and deed. God can work through us wherever we are!
In today's fast-paced and often secular work environments, expressing one's faith can seem daunting. However, for many Christians, their faith is an integral part of their identity that they wish to share. The course "Ordained in the Workplace" addresses these challenges and offers practical guidance to help believers live out their faith with confidence and poise.
NOTE: This course can be a 1-hours session or broken into 4 separate 1-hour sessions.
Faith does not have to be confined to Sunday services or personal moments of prayer. This section explores how faith can and should influence one's professional life, shaping ethics, interactions, and decisions.
Timing and context are crucial when discussing faith in a professional setting. This topic provides insights into recognizing appropriate moments and ensuring that sharing the Gospel is done respectfully and effectively.
Engaging in meaningful conversations about faith requires sensitivity and wisdom. This section offers strategies to initiate and navigate these conversations, ensuring they are both impactful and considerate.
Sometimes, actions speak louder than words. This part of the seminar emphasizes the importance of demonstrating Christian values through behavior, creating an environment where faith is evident in everyday actions.
Andy is a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Army, having served at every level of leadership—beginning as a team leader of five and culminating as the Chief Technology Officer for U.S. Army Europe and Africa. He views his military career through the lens of God’s calling: that the Lord ordained him as a Soldier and sent him across the globe—serving in nine states and six countries—to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, all while the Army provided the platform to do it.
Andy firmly believes that Christians can and should live out and share the Gospel in the workplace. Drawing from his own journey as both a professional and a believer, he offers unique insights for leaders and professionals navigating faith in their daily work.
Beyond his military service, Andy is an ordained Chaplain and has served in numerous ministry roles, including: Pastor of Administration and Leadership (Executive Pastor), Men’s Ministry Leader, Young Adult Ministry Leader, Young Men’s Ministry Leader, Sunday School teacher, Children’s Church teacher, Welcome Ministry team member, and both financial and membership clerk. He has also participated in mission work across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Andy brings this wealth of leadership experience and ministry service to The Ordained in the Workplace Seminar, where he equips others with practical and biblical insights on how to live out and share Jesus in their professional environments.
