After prayerful consideration, the Board of Directors of Jesus Christ Compass Ministries has approved the dissolution of the ministry on March 20, 2026, with last day of operation as September 30, 2026.
This decision was made after careful and prayerful consideration of the organization’s current condition and future viability.
The Board concluded that dissolution is the most responsible course of action based on the following factors:
• 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭: There has been a continued reduction in donor contributions, volunteer involvement, and overall community engagement necessary to carry out the ministry’s mission.
• 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬: The organization no longer has the required capacity, leadership bandwidth, or administrative resources to effectively sustain its programs and activities.
• 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬:The ministry has been unable to secure sufficient funding to continue operations in a responsible and sustainable manner.
The mission trip to Kenya will continue as scheduled. Any funds designated for these efforts will be used solely for their intended purposes. We will continue to accept donations designated for Kenya and ask that donors designate “Kenya” with their gift to support. Donations received prior to the effective date of dissolution will be administered in accordance with applicable nonprofit regulations and the organization’s governing documents to ensure that all contributions are used solely for their intended charitable and ministry purposes.
We are deeply grateful for the prayers, generosity, and partnership of the many individuals, churches, and friends who have supported the ministry and its mission to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and equip believers for discipleship and service.
We thank the Lord for the work accomplished through this ministry and for all who faithfully supported it.
