My time in Kenya
I am excited to be able to help Pastor Ben and Valentine plant a church in Kola, Kenya. I look forward to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and bring hope to a broke world.
My baptism was me coming to the end of myself. Allowing God to take the reigns of my life, submitting not only myself but my entire life to the Lord. Making a public proclamation of my faith to him, my submittance to His will, and to express my love for the one who created me. My Baptism/Coming to faith was the most important decision I've ever made, one that will carry with me all the days of my life.
I want others to have the same life change experience with Jesus.
Growing in Christ
Over the past year, especially with the help of seminary school, I've learned so much about God and His plan for the worlds salvation. I've grown to submit more and more to Him. Submit my own thoughts, my plans and my desires to Him. Over the past year I've been deep in studying His Word, learning what life is all about, what I am to do as a man, and how I'm suppose to conduct myself. Even now I still feel like a little child just trying to know my Father more and more.
God loves me more than I could ever love myself. Each day my desires for Him are renewed. The past 12 months have been expediential in my relationship with Jesus. I have a burning fire inside of me to chase after the face of God. Even on my worst days, I still have His hope, see His love, and taste His mercy.
