The Cross Faith Witnessing Seminars are designed to equip believers with biblical understanding and practical wisdom for sharing the Gospel with those of other faiths in a way that is truthful, gracious, and spiritually discerning. Grounded in 2 Timothy 2:24-26, these seminars emphasize that the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patient when wronged, and correcting opponents with gentleness. Participants will learn the core beliefs of various non Christian faiths, how those beliefs differ from the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and how to engage in meaningful conversations without creating unnecessary offense that shuts the door to future dialogue. Each seminar is taught by a presenter who personally came to faith in Jesus Christ out of the religious background being discussed, offering firsthand insight into the mindset, questions, and barriers that often shape those conversations. The focus is on cultivating humility, clarity, and compassion so that Gospel conversations remain open, respectful, and centered on the hope of repentance and the knowledge of the truth.

Islam, founded by the prophet Muhammad in the seventh century, teaches belief in one God and regards Jesus as a prophet but not as the Son of God. Muslims follow the Qur'an as their final and authoritative revelation, which they believe supersedes previous scriptures. While Islam honors Jesus, it denies His divinity, crucifixion, and resurrection as understood in historic Christian doctrine. For this reason, Christians hold that Islam presents a fundamentally different understanding of God, salvation, and the identity and work of Jesus Christ than what is revealed in the Bible.

Members of the Church of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly known as Mormons, identify themselves as Christians because they affirm belief in Jesus Christ and use the Bible alongside other writings. However, their acceptance of additional scriptures such as the Book of Mormon and later revelations places their authority outside the Bible alone. Orthodox Christian doctrine has also differed sharply from Latter-day Saint teachings regarding the nature of God, the Trinity, and the path to salvation. For these reasons, evangelical Christians believe these doctrines stand in contrast to the Bible as the final and sufficient Word of God and therefore not Christian.

The Catholic Church identifies itself as Christian and affirms historic doctrines such as the Trinity, the deity of Christ, and His bodily resurrection. However, it also holds that Sacred Tradition and the teaching authority of the Church, often referred to as the Magisterium, function alongside Scripture as binding authority. Doctrines concerning the papacy, veneration of Mary, prayers to saints, and aspects of sacramental theology are viewed by many evangelical Protestants as lacking clear biblical support. For this reason, some Christians contend that certain Catholic teachings elevate church tradition in ways they believe go beyond or conflict with Scripture as the final authority.

Judaism traces its heritage to the covenant God made with Abraham and the people of Israel, and its sacred Scriptures are contained in the Hebrew Bible, often called the Tanakh. It affirms one sovereign God and upholds the Law given through Moses as central to faith and practice. However, Judaism does not recognize Jesus as the promised Messiah or the Son of God, and it does not accept the New Testament as inspired Scripture. For this reason, Christians believe that while Judaism shares the Old Testament foundation, it does not embrace the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan in Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible.
