Rev. Benson Nguti founded Seekers Hope Ministry in 2013 with the support of his wife, Pastor Valentine. They felt a powerful call to serve God and their community, which led them to establish Seekers Hope Ministry in Kenya. While Rev. Ben fully transitioned into his role as lead pastor, Pastor Valentine continues to support their family through her career in the corporate world. She also leads the children’s and women’s ministries, playing a crucial role in nurturing these important areas of their church community.
From 2013 to 2022, the Nguti worked closely with other churches, gaining valuable experience and building relationships. This period of collaboration and learning was essential in preparing them for the next step. In 2022, they officially planted Seekers Hope Church, guided by their shared vision and mission. In 2025, Seekers Hope Ministry added a second church in the ancestorial home of Ben in Kola.
Seekers Hope Ministry’s vision is to make disciples, nurture spiritual development, and empower the community of Christ, as inspired by Matthew 28:19. Their mission is to seek the Kingdom of God, pursuing Christ's love and compassion in all actions, as encouraged in Matthew 6:33.
To achieve this vision and mission, they focus on worship, biblical teaching, community engagement, outreach, member training, and church leadership development. A key part of their strategy is developing church leaders with the goal of sending out ministers and establishing worship centers around the world. This approach is central to their commitment to spreading the message of Christ globally and empowering others to join in this mission.
